This customer asked Echols to give him a bid for a new roof. No bid can be given unless the 6 sub-par skylights are removed. This photo shows a homemade leaking skylight (actually just a piece of glass glued to a wood frame) which is too close to a wall. There is no way to make this watertight. The wall cannot be sealed with steel flashing and neither can the skylight as there is no room. Skylights need to be professionally manufactured and installed at leaf 4’ away from any other obstruction on any side.
